One of the many benefits of being Catholic is learning more about the thousands of holy men and women recognized by the Church — saints who can inspire and accompany us during our lives here on earth, whom we can lean on when we need comfort or help. There are some saints who seem to speak to us as individuals more than others. Maybe their lives resonate with our own, or their experiences and faith are so admirable that we have a desire to emulate them.
So we thought we’d share some of our own “go-to” saints whom we call upon when life is hard, or good.
