The Vatican provided Covid vaccines to the homeless around St. Peter's; now these men and women will be Francis' guests for Feast of St. George

Pope Francis will celebrate the April 23 feast of Saint George - his name day as he was baptized Jorge (George) - with some 600 of the homeless and struggling people who were recently vaccinated against Covid by the Vatican.

They will also be getting their second dose of the vaccine on this day.

The pontiff is expected to offer a “surprise” during the celebration.

Pope Francis likes to celebrate his name day and birthday with those in need. Last year on this occasion, he donated material to hospitals to help them treat Covid patients.
