Biblical prayer for healing of body and soul

book of Jeremiah

Cry out to God with this prayer from the book of Jeremiah.

One of the best places to find prayers for healing is in the Bible.

Throughout the Old and New Testaments, people cry out to God for healing, whether of body or soul.

The good news is that God always responds to our prayers, though not always in the way we want. He looks for a contrite heart, and sometimes our heart needs more healing than our body.

Whatever your situation may be, here is a short prayer from the Bible that asks God for healing.

Heal me, Lord, that I may be healed; save me, that I may be saved, for you are my praise…You are my refuge in the day of disaster. – Jeremiah 17:14, 17
