Prayer is our refuge, especially when we need help.

During the general audience addresses from early 2020 until mid 2021, Pope Francis gave a teaching on prayer.

He considered the mystery of prayer, what Old Testament figures teach us about prayer, and types of prayer.

Below are five reflections that are particularly helpful when life feels burdensome, or we don’t know where to turn, and our prayer feels difficult.
