Kathleen N. Hattrup is the Church and Spirituality Editor for Aleteia English. With undergraduate degrees in theology, English, and educational development, and a master's in theology, she has been working almost 15 years in Catholic media, with a particular focus on news from Rome. Her writing has appeared in various other outlets, most frequently in the National Catholic Register. Though born and raised a midwest farm girl, after several years in Mexico, Chile, and Puerto Rico, she also works as a translator, and along with her husband and four young children, is currently chasing life dreams in Spain.
