When we see a beautiful vista, a natural reaction is to give praise to God for the beauty he created.

Many saints throughout history gave praise to God for the beauty of the earth, and saw his marvelous design in creation.

Here is the hymn "For the Beauty of the Earth," written by Folliett Sandford Pierpoint in 1864, that can serve as a prayer of thanksgiving and praise to God.
