Catechism of the Catholic Church 336:
From its beginning until death, human life is surrounded by [angels’] watchful care and intercession. “Beside each believer stands an angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life.” Already here on earth the Christian life shares by faith in the blessed company of angels and men united in God.
Dear angel, my guardian, thank you for always being with me, like an ambassador of God, with me.
God urges me in his Word to give heed to you. “Behold, I send an angel before you, to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place which I have prepared."
Help me to always listen to you and hearken to your voice. Strengthen me to follow your counsel and take your advice. Allow me to hear your inspirations, ‘Do this... this is better... you shouldn’t do this,' and to always obey.
When I have fallen, remind me that I'm not alone. That you are still here.
May I never rebel against you! May I be supported by your help so as to bask, with you, in heaven.
(Cf. Pope Francis, morning homily, October 2, 2015).
