These apps help children grow closer to God, in keeping with Blessed Carlo’s mission of evangelization through technology.

It’s hard to talk about Blessed Carlo Acutis without getting emotional. His story is just so amazing!

He was born to parents who weren’t religious, but somehow felt a desire to know God from a young age. He learned about God from his Catholic nanny and became a devout Catholic who essentially evangelized his own parents. He was only 16 when he died, but he left an extraordinary legacy of good works and love for the Eucharist.

Most teenage saints died as martyrs, but Blessed Carlo died of leukemia. If he were alive today, he would only be 29 years old. Everything about him and his life inspires awe. He’s a wonderful role model for all of us.

One thing that’s especially worth imitating is his mission of using new technology to evangelize. He even created his own website to share the good news of Eucharistic miracles.

Knowing his love for technology and desire to use it to serve God, we can imagine that Blessed Carlo would appreciate apps designed to help people grow in holiness. As a child himself, he probably would have had a special soft spot for apps that help children learn about God.

These 5 apps for catechizing children are right on target with Blessed Carlo’s mission of evangelization through technology.
