Sometimes when we know God’s will, we can still be reluctant to follow it. God may be urging us to move in a certain direction, but we aren’t ready for it.
Here is a prayer to ask God for a little extra help in obeying him and following his will.
Almighty, ever-living God,
make us ever obey you willingly and promptly.
Teach us how to serve you
with sincere and upright hearts
in every sphere of life.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever. Amen.
