Yu-na and her mother converted to Catholicism in 2008 after an injury sidelined her. At her baptism, she chose the name “Stella” for Mary, Star of the Sea. She actively witnesses to her Faith at competitions and performances around the globe and works closely with Catholic Universities, hospitals and organizations.
